Meet Frankie: Isn't he cute? He's going to be a present to the Trips' teacher. I'll fill with Halloween colored M&M's. I used a really strong adhesive, hoping she will get more than one year's use out of it.

I've been trying to come up with ideas for all of the plastic containers that so many products come in these days. One idea I had was to create a pencil holder for the school secretary. She NEVER has one handy. I also purchased some nuts at Target recently. They came in a VERY cool clear plastic container with a screw-on lid. That one became a treat for the school nurse. Never hurts to have these people on your side! (:
I am the queen of "scraps." I'll purchase a 12x12 sheet and only use a tiny portion. The rest goes into a "scrap box." I decided to put those scraps to good use this year... I cut 3"x3" squares and have been writing the kids' spelling and sight words on them. Punch with the ever-so-handy Crop-o-dile, and load onto a metal ring. Ready made practice words that is literally small enough to take anywhere. We go over them a couple times each week, just to make sure they retain them.
Now for a sneak peak....
This is a class I'm teaching at The Scrapbook Tree in Vincennes, IN. Just a quick little peak at it, though! We'll focus on Teresa Collins papers and recipe card holders.
What's your inspiration?

I missed the class in Vincennes and was hoping it would be held again in December. I would love to learn how to make these so I can make some for gifts. Do you have instructions for these somewhere on your blog?
Thanks
